From there, we travel to the majestic Andes and the ancient Inca capital of Cusco, a city alive with colorful traditions and historic treasures.
We’ll explore the awe-inspiring Sacred Valley, home to traditional villages, terraced landscapes, and the gateway to the legendary Machu Picchu. Finally, our journey concludes in the lush Amazon rainforest near Puerto Maldonado, where the wonders of nature await—from exotic wildlife to serene river excursions.

OVERNIGHT: LIMA
Today we will embark on a walking tour of a few of the vibrant neighborhoods Lima has to offer. The Main Square serves as the focal point: a beautiful colonial square, surrounded by emblematic buildings such as the Government Palace, the Cathedral, and the Archbishop’s Palace. We will have the opportunity to explore one of the most iconic ecclesiastical spaces and the most remarkable colonial complex in Lima, the San Francisco Convent, We will also venture into its mysterious and captivating catacombs, offering a unique insight into colonial Lima.
Next, a journey full of art, culture, and flavor awaits us in Lima’s bohemian neighborhood par excellence: Barranco. Marvel at their colonial legacy and its old houses influenced by the Gothic style. We will also stop at the Bridge of Sighs or ‘Puente de los Suspiros’, one of the most important attractions of the district, inspiring unique legends as well as motivating songs and poems.

OVERNIGHT: CUSCO
This morning, say good-bye to Lima, and fly to Cusco, a city in which you will learn how the Andean and Spanish cultures, as well as the ways of the past and the present, coexist in harmony. Get settled into your hotel and later have dinner with your group.

OVERNIGHT: CUSCO
Today we will gather for a walking tour starting in the center of the city to explore the hundreds of merchant stands in the San Pedro market, the oldest market in the city, designed in 1925. Next we will visit the Koricancha temple, which was a center for worship of the Sun during the Inca empire and later was a convent during the evangelization process. To further appreciate the greatness of the Incas, we will ascend to the monumental fortress of Sacsayhuaman with its enormous carved stone walls, an example of Inca military architecture. We will tour the archaeological center of Kenko, a ceremonial place where the sun, the moon, and the stars were worshiped. Then a visit to the Cathedral, the most important temple in the city, built by the Spanish on top of the palace of the Inca Huiracoha.
You will also learn about Andean cuisine through a gastronomic tour and cooking class, culminating in enjoying the fruits of your labor.

OVERNIGHT: SACRED VALLEY
Today, we will learn about the tradition and history of the Sacred Valley, the traces left by its ancient inhabitants, and the culture of its current towns. We will stop at the Taray viewpoint, 3,200 meters above sea level, from where we have a stunning panoramic view of the valley. We will then explore the archaeological complex of Pisac, where we will see how advanced it was for its time, both for its urban planning and for the variety of environments dedicated to religious ceremonies and temples. We will enjoy a traditional lunch in Pisac town, characterized by its quiet streets and market featuring its proud heritage of textile arts and handicrafts. The tour continues on to Ollantaytambo, an ancient imposing fortress with the original Inca urban design, located on a mountain with a view of the town, indicating the power of the Incas. A train ride to your hotel in Aguas Calientes will complete the journey of the day.

OVERNIGHT: SACRED VALLEY
Today is the day for one of the most anticipated sites: Machu Picchu. Our adventure will begin aboard the train to Aguas Calientes, enjoying the natural beauty of the surroundings along the way, with impressive views of majestic mountains, the Vilcanota river and small towns of the Peruvian Andes. After a short bus ride from Aguas Calientes we will find ourselves in front of one of the Seven Wonders of the World. From there, we will have plenty of time to explore the ancient ruins, learning all about the history and mysteries that this mystical and impressive place holds. When we have had our fill, we will return to Aguas Calientes and have free time for lunch and exploring the town before boarding our return train.

OVERNIGHT: SACRED VALLEY
Today is dedicated to exploring three jewels of the Sacred Valley of the Incas: Maras, Moray and Misminay. From the top, we will have stunning panoramic views of the ancient Maras salt mines, where the coveted Maras salt – one of the finest in the world – is collected. We will then visit the Moray archaeological site, which resembles a natural amphitheater. Its enormous concentric terraces and the variety of microclimates they created allowed the growth of a variety of crops. Next, we will be welcomed to the traditional community of Misminay, where we get to know the traditional Andean lifestyle up close, enjoying the music, dances, and participate in daily activities like planting, harvesting, and textile work.

OVERNIGHT: PUERTO MALDONADO
After breakfast, take a flight to Puerto Maldonado, famously known as the Capital of Biodiversity, and embark on your Amazon adventure. A boat ride along the clay-colored waters of the Madre de Dios River brings you to our private eco-reserve cabanas, then head to the palm-thatched dining room for a delicious buffet lunch. Afterward, delve into the rainforest on foot, strolling along the property’s nature paths, near the protected Tambopata National Reserve and situated on the site of a former cacao and rubber plantation, surrounded by rainforest teeming with exotic wildlife and vibrant tropical plants. At dusk, witness the magical transition of the rainforest as it shifts from day to night on a guided Twilight River boat ride. Keep an eye out for caimans and other nocturnal creatures along the riverbanks and marvel at the sparkling stars of the southern hemisphere.

OVERNIGHT: PUERTO MALDONADO
Start with an early morning stroll along a scenic rainforest trail to reach Lake Sandoval, a serene oxbow lake nestled within the protected Tambopata National Reserve. Board a traditional wooden dugout canoe to paddle quietly along a
gentle stream that opens onto the lake, framed by picturesque palm trees, and attempt to spot the diverse wildlife, including the endangered giant river otter, red howler monkeys, red-bellied macaws, anacondas, side-neck turtles, black caimans, and countless bird species.
After lunch back at the hotel, embark on the thrilling Canopy Walkway adventure, which features 344 meters of suspension bridges connecting eight treetop observation platforms. Suspended high above the forest floor, this experience offers unparalleled views of the rainforest’s vast expanse. This evening, choose to explore the forest further with the Hidden Forest night excursion or, alternatively, opt for a relaxing session at a tranquil spa retreat nestled in the heart of the rainforest. Afterwards we will have our final dinner together.
