It can be difficult to find boots or hiking shoes that aren’t too bulky and heavy to want to pack. So while we don’t have as many options to offer as with other types of shoes, we know that these few are at least highly recommended by our travel community! Our boot edition list has our readers’ top favorite travel boots. These brands were also mentioned in general as good options: Merrell, Columbia, and Keen.

Boot Edition – Top Hiking Boots/Shoes

Blundstone Unisex Chelsea Boots

These ones are always a favorite because of their warmth, sturdiness, and they’re waterproof. They also have a wide range of sizes available.

Teva Mens Canyonview

These are a lightweight hiking shoe option that still provides comfort and support like a boot.

Lems Womens Boulder Summit Boot

Followers say that these are waterproof, comfortable, and good for wider feet. They also are more lightweight than many boots!
