For today’s Advent post, I want to share a small tradition that has become surprisingly meaningful to me over the years: doing a Christmas card exchange with our community.

This started as a simple idea – if you send me a card, I’ll send one back to you from wherever I happen to be in December. Every year, more of you join in, and it has grown into something I truly enjoy. Your cards arrive from all over, each with its own story, and sitting down to respond to them has become one of the quiet highlights of my holiday season.

There’s no sign-up and no requirements. If you’d like to participate, you’re welcome to. All you need to do is send a card to the address below and let me know your address so I can send you one using this form:

If you’d rather just send me a card and not your address, that’s OK – my address is:

Sarah Murdoch, AWS
7511 Greenwood Ave N #427
Seattle
WA 98103

It’s a small exchange, but it’s a nice way to stay connected as we move through December – especially for those of us who spend so much time on the road.

Thank you for being part of this Advent series. Keep an eye out for tomorrow’s entry, and don’t forget to bookmark this series here so you can come back at any point (or if you miss an entry – it is a busy time of the year after all!)
